What is Heat It Up Box It?

Box It is an intense group workout inspired by the world of boxing. You combine punching the heavy bag with dynamic cardio exercises in effective intervals, getting a full-body workout that improves your endurance, strength, and coordination all at once.

It’s not a boxing camp. It’s structured, accessible training with real physical results. No experience is necessary. Just show up and work hard.

The class moves at a fast pace from start to finish. The instructor sets the pace. You control the intensity.

What happens during the class?

A Box It session is structured around intervals that alternate between:

  • Punching a punching bag — technique, power, and rhythm
  • Cardio exercises — burpees, squat jumps, mountain climbers
  • Active recovery — so you can push yourself again

You'll work your entire body. Your upper body, core, and legs are all engaged. The session lasts 45 minutes—no time wasted.

Who is Box It for?

Box It is perfect for you if:

  • Want a challenging, structured cardio workout
  • Are you bored on the treadmill or using exercise machines?
  • Looking for a workout that provides both physical and mental relief
  • I'm new to group workouts and want something that feels different

You don't need any boxing experience. The instructor will guide you through the technique.

No. The technique will be introduced during the class. It’s about working on it, not about being perfect.
It's intense. But the intensity is up to you—you decide how hard you push yourself within the structure of the class.
Regular workout clothes and indoor shoes that allow you to move freely. Feel free to bring your own boxing gloves if you have them—otherwise, we’ll manage without them.
Most people notice a difference in their fitness and energy levels after 3–4 weeks of regular exercise.
Yes, you’re required to wear non-slip socks and gloves for all our classes—they ensure a secure grip on the Reformer and are required for hygiene reasons. If you don’t have a set, you can purchase them at the center so you can always get started, no matter what.
Comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes are ideal—loose clothing can get caught in the Reformer’s moving parts. Remember to bring grip socks and gloves (available for purchase at the center). No special shoes are required—Reformer Pilates is done in socks.
